Opening up with brief info about unit training model:
Training is applied at battalion level. Each major section of the battalion is presented as company/platoon at tactical layer. Eg: Heavy Infantry Battalion is composed by 3 inf companies and 1 HvyAT Platoon. When in tactical engagement these are 4 units in total. Training units will cost money and manpower while taking certain amount of time to complete (usually several days)
The same logic will also apply for other unit classes.
