First vehicle that was added to transport class is Ural-375D. It’s a general purpose 6x6, 4.5 ton truck with top speed of 76km/h. Ural-375 can transport troops, tow artillery pieces or trailers with max weight of 10t. It also severed as a main platform for BM-21 rocket artillery.

Productions run for 30 years from 1961 to 1991 with many still in service in former Warsaw Pack countries.

You could check that short video on how it work in War Cabinet

Importance of highly mobile units and combined arms was recognized since the WWII

Ability to quickly move man, equipment and supplies is critical for modern warfare. In order to quickly reinforcement’s key positions or to exploit gaps in enemy defense one would need high mobility.

Trucks become the workhorse of the army motorized infantry, tower artillery, logistic and supply units.

Now we have that included into the game to be used for your advantage or to be surprised by quick enemy relocation.

We plan to add infantry to all APC and IFV. They will fight only when stationary.

I’m fully convinced now!

Obviously the external design was the last thing they thought about... :D

Only if the model is dating back before 70s could explain such lousy appearance.

When it was first produced?

Late 60s i think but the newer models have the same design so yeah,i guess design wasn't their first thought lol.
